Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the clinical trial exam may not proceed as scheduled. No payment for a trial exam will be requested until the situation is more certain.
Each trial exam is conducted using the same format as that of the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Clinical Examination with 16 Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) stations and 4 rest stations. The OSCEs cover medical, surgical, psychiatric, obstetrics & gynaecology and paediatric clinical situations.
Candidates have 2 minutes reading time, 8 minutes to complete the task and then 2 minutes feedback from the Examiner at each station. Additionally, all candidates receive a copy of the written marking sheet from each station. At the conclusion of the exam, candidates attend a feedback session by the lead examiner.
There are two ways you can participate in our clinical trial exams. Either enrol in one of our clinical bridging courses (where clinical trial exams are included in the cost of the course), or you can register for the trial exam on its own.
Discount: If you have ever done a clinical trial exam with us before (including if it was part of our clinical courses), you can get a 25% discount on another trial exam.
Important information: HEAL Administration will make contact with you to discuss the availablility of your chosen trial exam session as places are limited.
If you'd like to apply for more than one trial exam session please apply as separate orders - multiple sessions in the same order can't be approved.
