AMC Clinical Exam Preparation - Online Webinar
21 April 2020, 7.30pm – 8.30pm AEDT (Syd/Melb time)
To help International Medical Graduates prepare for their AMC Clinical Examination, HEAL has created OSCEs, which are facilitated by an experienced clinician.
Dr Phillippa Wills (a Melbourne-based Emergency Physician) will facilitate the upcoming webinar, covering two scenarios:
1. Cut to the thumb - Preview
2. Seizure - Preview
In this webinar, you will watch videos of experienced clinicians performing the role of the OSCE candidate, conducting clinical encounters with a trained simulated patient, based on different scenarios (e.g. examination, diagnosis or management of a patient).
After the videos, you can engage in discussion with Dr Phillippa Wills for each case and examine ways to demonstrate improved clinical knowledge, professional skills and communication. The discussion will encourage you to critically reflect on practice and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions to assist you to understand the rationale and approach for each performance.
The webinar aims to improve your overall management, approach and structure to any OSCE performance.
